Sparrow Foundation Adds Community Leaders as New Members

LANSING, MI – The Sparrow Foundation has named five noted business, medical and community leaders to its Board of Directors, overseeing the philanthropic endeavors that support Sparrow Health System in caring for our region.

Appointed to three-year terms are:

  • Christine (Chrissie) Brogan, a very active community volunteer
  • Kimberly Friar, M.D., a physician with Sparrow Medical Group Charlotte, Sparrow Eaton Hospital
  • Joseph Kochan, M.D., medical chief of staff-elect, E.W. Sparrow Hospital (ex officio member)
  • Kelley Pierce, president, Great Lakes Vending Services
  • Michael (Mike) Williams, broker/owner, Re/Max Real Estate Professionals

In 2024, the Sparrow Foundation Board will consist of 23 regular and five ex-officio members led by Chair Don Simon, President and CEO of Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan.
