Sparrow has appointed community and business leaders Lisa M. Corless and Daniel J. Warmels as new members of the Sparrow Foundation Board of Directors. They replace outgoing members Glenn Granger and Richard Henderson, who each fulfilled their third three-year term on the Foundation Board as of Dec. 31.

“We are grateful for the many years of service these individuals devoted to the Sparrow Foundation,” said Stella Cash, Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships. “Their active involvement on the board was an important factor in the Foundation’s impact over these past several years, and we are confident that these new board members will engage with the same sense of mission and pride in the years to come.”

Corless, of Lansing, is Chief Administrative Officer of Accident Fund Holdings, Inc., in Lansing. She has been repeatedly recognized for her leadership in business and philanthropic efforts.

Warmels, of Okemos, is a certified public accountant who co-founded Warmels Comstock, PLLC, in 1994 in East Lansing. He is a Lansing Rotary Club member and also serves on the boards of many community organizations including the Lansing Art Gallery and Fair Food Network.

The Board of Directors serves as an advisory board, supporting the direction and guiding the activities of the Sparrow Foundation.

For more than 50 years, the Sparrow Foundation has served as the charitable home of Sparrow Health System. Gifts from individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations are invested into programs, facilities and technology that support the exceptional care provided to every individual, regardless of an ability to pay. Contributions to the Sparrow Foundation are making a difference in the lives of our Patients, their families, and our region, each and every day.
