Three Sparrow IT teams are taking Extra Life by storm this year. But they need your help to reach their fundraising goals for the Sparrow Children’s Center and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Extra Life is an annual online gaming event founded in 2008 to honor the memory of a CMNH Patient in Texas. It has grown to be a large charitable effort in the video game world and drives awareness and donations for CMN Hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. During the last several years Extra Life has raised over $14 million for CMN Hospitals.
This year Sparrow IT, in partnership with the Sparrow Foundation, is hosting an Extra Life fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 7, when IT Caregiver teams will be raising funds during a 24-hour gaming marathon at the Hagadorn IT facility. The teams will be playing video games, computer games, board games, euchre, and card games.
Participants raise funds year-round and during the 24-hour gaming marathon on Nov 7. Please support one of our IT teams who are in friendly competition for raising the most funds. Donations are tax-deductible and all proceeds go directly to the Sparrow Children’s Center and the Sparrow Foundation.
