Sparrow Transport Technician Todd Schneider loves making Patients laugh.
Whether he is rushing a Patient to Emergency or Labor and Delivery, or fetching a cool drink for someone in need, Todd is a true “people person” who enjoys his job and helping to make people feel comfortable in any situation.
“One of my Patients was diagnosed with cancer and was very down. Todd was on that day and made my Patient laugh and feel human again. I see Todd have this effect on many people,” said Patient Care Technician Cindy Pontius.
“Various times I have witnessed Todd help and go the extra mile when it comes to assisting Patients and visitors,” agreed Visitor Assistant Karen Rodriguez, who works in Patient Access. Without hesitation he will assist anyone in need.”
Putting the needs of Patients first is what has made Todd a star Sparrow Caregiver for the past 11 years.
“I like the fact I’m constantly meeting new people and I can take a personal interest in their situation,” he said. “It’s like having a new boss every 15 minutes.”
