Volunteering at Sparrow

Learn more about becoming a volunteer.

Sparrow was founded in 1896 by a volunteer group known as the Women’s Hospital Association, governed by the Women's Board of Managers. Since then Sparrow has continued to expand and now offers patient care and services at 115 locations.

Volunteers are a crucial part of Sparrow’s mission and are needed in providing excellent care to our patients and families.  If you are interested in becoming a Sparrow volunteer, select a hospital location below to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
