Changes to healthcare: You have questions, we have answers.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and changes in State of Michigan Medicaid programs have resulted in lots of new options for healthcare coverage.

The most common options for currently uninsured individuals include:

Michigan Health Insurance Marketplace

Commonly referred to as the Exchange, is administered by the federal government.  Individuals can obtain commercial insurance coverage through the Exchange.  Assistance with the cost of these plans is available depending on your income, family size, and the plan selected.  For more information, check eligibility or enroll in a plan…

Healthy Michigan Plan

Commonly referred to as Medicaid Expansion, this plan delivers coverage to uninsured Michigan adults with income between 100% and 133% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Medicaid and Other Michigan Programs

There are several plans available specifically for Children, Pregnant Women, Adults and Families.  Each has different requirements and coverage options.
